Siobhan Benita, attended the annual Peace Symposium of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community on Saturday 24 March.
Siobhan joined leaders from the world of faith, politics and civil society at the event which was held in the Baitual Futuh Mosque in Merton, the borough where Siobhan was born and grew up.
Siobhan said "Having visited the Baitual Futuh Mosque earlier this month I was delighted to be invited back to the Peace Symposium. I wholeheartedly support the guiding principle of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community - Love for All, Hatred for None. The Symposium is a fantastic event, bringing people together from all backgrounds, faiths and organisations. Having grown up in Merton myself, it is a personal pleasure to be part of a local event that epitomises the very best of our diverse capital city."
